I work in Vesta Technology HK as a system architecture, I provided technical solution to my client in terms of hardware and software. My primary clients include hospitals, healthcare companies. Research Program May 2014 - Augest 2014

My role in the research program was building a prototype by using Visiable light as a communication media. Our method is using the PWM waveform to encode the signal into the LED light. For example PWM 25% - 00, 35% = 01, 45% = 10, 55% = 11. Finally, we decode the signal and become some human readable text. In our prototype, the Data rate is 20 KB/s, transmit distance = 2 meter, we are using Arduino Uno as a transmitter and receivcer with photo diode. But only photo diode is not enough, we also need to use Op Amp to build a circuit to ampify the input signal so that we can construct a 5V square waveform which can be read in Arduino. One of my prototype is using visble light to locate people in the cave or tunnel
